Kaitlyn Hayes

Kaitlyn is a contributing editor for Fine Gardening magazine and a budding plant enthusiast. After five years working behind-the-scenes building web articles and social posts for FG, Kaitlyn caught the gardening bug and started amassing a collection of cacti and succulents for her indoor garden. But Kaitlyn’s garden challenges and experiences are a little outside the box… She takes her potted plants and brings them on the road with her in a self-converted campervan. Making plants mobile comes with all sorts of obstacles, but the added work allows her to visit public gardens and experience the beauty of plants in nature all over North America.

You can keep up with some of Kaitlyn’s travels by checking out our Garden Photo of the Day blog, where she compiles reader submissions for our daily blog, and by giving her a follow on Instagram: @agirlherdogandtheroad.
